You are a holder the moment $BRICS lands in a Robinhood Chain wallet you control. There is nothing to stake and nothing to register. Any Ethereum style wallet works on Robinhood Chain, such as MetaMask, Rabby or Coinbase Wallet.

Your tower follows your balance

Your tower in the City is as tall as the $BRICS you hold right now: one floor for every million $BRICS, and at least one floor while you hold any. Buy more and it grows. Sell and it shrinks. It follows the chain a few minutes behind its newest block. See Towers.

Connecting a wallet

You never need to connect a wallet to have a tower. Connecting is only for the dashboard, where you sign free messages, for example to name your tower. Nothing you sign there can move funds, and signing never asks your wallet to switch networks.

  • In a browser with a wallet extension, such as MetaMask or Rabby on a computer, pick it from the list.
  • On a phone, tap your wallet app: Robinhood Wallet, MetaMask, Rainbow or Trust Wallet open through WalletConnect, and you approve the connection there, then come back. Coinbase Wallet opens this site in its own browser instead. Any other WalletConnect wallet can use the connection link.
  • On a computer with the wallet on your phone, scan the QR code with the wallet app.
  • No wallet yet? Where it is offered, continue with your email address. Reown makes a wallet for you and keeps its key; Brics never has it and never sees your email. You can also install any Ethereum style wallet and come back.

A WalletConnect wallet stays connected to this site until you sign out. If a phone wallet takes longer than five minutes to answer, the request expires and you start again.

Smart wallets (EIP-1271), including ones not deployed yet (EIP-6492), can sign in too: their signatures are checked on Robinhood Chain.

What counts

  • $BRICS in any wallet that a private key controls, including a wallet that has delegated with EIP-7702.
  • It does not count while a contract holds it. That means liquidity pools, vaults and lockers, bridges and multisig wallets. Tokens sent to a burn address do not count either.

Several wallets

You can link up to 4 wallets from your dashboard. Their $BRICS counts together toward one tower.

Linked wallets are public. A tower shows which wallets it is built from, so anyone can see that they belong to the same holder and check its height against the chain. If you need a wallet kept apart from your others, do not link it.
